Boeing, the aircraft manufacturer, is showing confidence in the world economy bounding back before too long by predicting world demand for 30,900 new commercial aircraft by 2029.

When the world’s economies rebound, they say, new aircraft and replacement aircraft will be in strong demand. This alone will help to trigger increased growth in economies as passenger and freight aircraft are needed.

The report, recently released in London by Boeing, the Boeing 2010 Current Market Outlook, is in its 46th year. It is widely admired and respected, and considered by those who know to be the best and most comprehensive analysis available on the commercial aviation market.

“…good news for the aviation industry…”

That Boeing is confidently predicting a steadily improving market condition at a time when conditions are still unstable, is good news for the industry in general.

“The world market is doing much better than last year, but there are still challenges,” said Randy Tinseth, Vice President of Marketing at Boeing Commercial Airplanes.

“Looking at 2010, we see a world economy that continues to recover. We expect the world economy to grow above the long-term trend this year. As a result, both passenger and cargo travel will grow this year. Airline revenue and yields are up, but fuel prices remain volatile.”

This is of course good and welcomed news for the travel industry in general, following the depressed vacation situation in Florida and neighboring states as a result of the BP Gulf oil disaster.
